Cooper's Happy Tail....

Little Mister Soft Eyes

Cooper Cooper lived with his family for his entire seven years, and was originally an "only child". But as the family grew to three children, life got a little more complicated. Cooper was left out of many activities . . . too hard to balance the high energy level of three young children and a happy, active little dog. Cooper's owners said he was a great sport about being left out, but he deserved much more than they could give him.
Cooper had two bladder stone surgeries
Cooper had two bladder stone surgeries

As part of his past medical history, Cooper had surgery to remove bladder stones. Unfortunately he had not been kept on a low protein diet as recommended, to prevent a re-occurrence. As soon as he arrived at the foster home, he had an accident and there was blood in his urine. Off to the vet we went and poor Cooper was, once again, diagnosed with bladder stones. Miniature Schnauzer Rescue scheduled Cooper for bladder stone surgery, which he got through successfully. He stayed with his foster family until he was fully healed . . . quiet time for the little boy who had already been through so much change.
Cooper on the Oregon beaches!
Cooper on the Oregon beaches!

Cooper was ready to be adopted by May 2010, and the lucky little boy found a wonderful new home on the Oregon beach. Cooper's foster family had taken him to the beach and discovered how very much Cooper loved running on the beach so a permanent home on the coast for Cooper is a dream come true. Bobbi and George invited Cooper to be a part of their lives. Bobbie says "Thank you all so very much for the gift of Cooper! He has really enlivened our household. He's even got West, our 11-year old Greyhound, who never played with toys, chasing the ball with him. We actually caught the two of them tussling over a new rope chew toy that we bought for Cooper this afternoon, having a wonderful time together! We all love him . . . he is quite the "snuggle-bug."

Little Mister Soft Eyes has been through a lot . . . but it has ended well. He can run the beach to his heart's content - safe and well loved.
